Visiting for the first time
What language is the service in?
Our services are held in English and Dutch, however we use a translation app so you can select the language of your choice.
What should I expect during the church service?
The service lasts about an hour and a half. Before and after the sermon we sing a mixture of modern worship songs and traditional hymns. There is also a time for the taking of bread and wine (the Communion). You don’t need to take this if you don’t feel comfortable.
Any chance of morning coffee?
Yes, we offer complimentary teas and coffees before the service starts for early birds, and after the service. Special note to let you know there is a great restaurant for light snacks or lunch.
Getting there, and bringing the family
Is there parking space?
Yes, and it’s free! Grab a ticket upon car park entry. Then remember to get the ticket stamped by a member of staff at the bar or restaurant to grant you free parking when you leave.
Does the venue have a lift for those with mobility issues?
There is an elevator at the venue which you can access from the centre of the car park, located across from the bicycle parking space. Take the elevator to the top floor, which is where the main hall is located. Look out for the yellow GvC sign.
Will there be fun activities for young children to do?
Yes, we have children’s classes during the main service for kids between 2 and 14 years old. Kids less than 4 years old will need to be accompanied by at least one parent if the child is not comfortable being left in the class.
