Everything we do is on a volunteer basis. Anyone with a gift to contribute in some way and who has the ability to do so can serve if the need is clear and others are excited to join.
The Bible asks us to be "cheerful givers". We encourage everyone to find out what their gifts are and what brings a smile on their face and not to feel obligated, pressured or guilty.
As you can see above... ☝️ there are various "groups" of disciples in the church. Mostly they are "self organized" into life-stage groups. (like teens/students etc.)
You are welcome to explore what seems best for you to join and what proves to be the most helpful to you. The most important factor is that you feel supported and inspired.
We follow Jesus' example in giving and serving, also explained in the book of Philippians, chapter 2
Effectively, this means we have a great respect for everyone and strive to be supportive and complimentary, in order to bring the best out in each other.
God believes we are so valuable that He allowed his son to die for us. This is the value we want to live upto for ourselves and others.
"...whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave— just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
"Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God."
“Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time?
"Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says"
-James brother of Jesus
